Seborrheic Dermatitis is commonly managed with medicated shampoos containing ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione, or selenium sulfide, which help reduce yeast growth, flaking, and scalp inflammation. Ketoconazole is often most effective for stronger or persistent dandruff, while zinc pyrithione and selenium sulfide work well for mild to moderate cases. These shampoos are usually used 2–3 times per week during flare-ups and once weekly for maintenance, along with a routine of gentle cleansing and avoiding heavy oils to prevent recurrence.
